one ring to rule them all, of course

i guess i am looking for a 'parent' to deliver things to me in my nest
i am looking for a parent-boss to drop me into work that suits me perfectly
i am not cutting/adjusting myself=work to suit each other better
i have static models of myself and work and others
it's not static static but more like made from a model trained from one set of events, not more. it needs a approach in good faith in a completely different paradigm to see other aspects of things
everybody is learning. almost everybody starts with an empty slate. almost everybody who succeeds learns quickly and effectively, and delivers quality
everybody who grows , asks for growth into areas unknown, and quickly and systematically builds familiarity, getting better at mapping , estimating risk etc
i fear my boss is no longer thinking of me as meritable..
i must confess, i am terribly ashamed of my previous 5-6 posts. while they touch the pillars i so am fascinated by, they are totally in bad taste.
jeeves, sherlock holmes, conan edogawa , poirot - let us live the life of the time in the best circles, without paying the price - the heaviness of reality the incumbents must bear - while we sample and taste at will
asimov's stories did the same with robots and his science-fiction devices. Philip k dick did the same ,except his devices were stomach-turning.
imagine you could create a fictional agency endowed with social validity that could go anywhere collecting elements for some assemblage not usually

To translate your daily life into the language of Jay Forrester (the father of System Dynamics and MIT professor), we must stop looking at your life as a collection of philosophical ideas and start looking at it as an industrial feedback system. [1, 2]
| System Dynamics Element | Real-World Translation | Function in Your Personal System |
|---|---|---|
| 🗄️ Stock 1: Cognitive Bandwidth | Nervous system capacity / Attention reserve | The finite bucket of mental clarity available to you each day. |
| 🗄️ Stock 2: Algorithmic Captivity | Accumulated digital hooks / Anxiety loops | The volume of unresolved external demands and tracking metrics sitting in your brain. |
| 🌊 Inflow: Information Input Rate | Notifications, feeds, reading linear text, emails | The velocity at which external data is dumped into your system. |
| 🌊 Outflow: Creative Throughput | Deep work, coding, writing, building, physical action | The rate at which you process thoughts into tangible, external reality. |
| 🔄 Feedback Loop: The "Drifter" Loop | Doom-scrolling, chasing metrics, constant checking | A catastrophic Positive Feedback Loop where more input breeds more anxiety, demanding more input. |
| Challenge / Symptom | The Structural Defect | The Forresterian Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Brain Fog / Fatigue | Cognitive Bandwidth Stock has completely depleted. | Close the Input Valve: Implement a strict digital fast to let stocks refill. |
| Paralysis by Analysis | Information Inflow is wildly exceeding Outflow capacity. | Restrict Inflow: Stop reading or researching; force the system into immediate action. |
| Chasing Metrics / Shiny Objects | Trapped in an unconstrained Positive Feedback Loop. | Introduce Negative Feedback: Set rigid, timed limits on when you are allowed to check data. |
| Constant Interruption | Poor system boundary definitions allowing external shocks. | Isolate the System: Put devices on Do-Not-Disturb; physically lock your workspace door. |
To translate this entire systemic evolution into Douglas Hofstadter’s language (Gödel, Escher, Bach), we must look at the universe as a Self-Referential Hierarchical System.
| Materialist/Systems Language | The Eastern Metaphor | The Hofstadterian Isomorphism |
|---|---|---|
| The Ambient Environment | Shiva / Krishna | The Inviolate Substrate (The raw, unmapped hardware/brain tissue) |
| Dynamic Flows / Attractors | Shakti / Spanda / Bhakti | Self-Reproduction / Recursive Glitches (Software dynamics running on the hardware) |
| Linear Text / The Grid | Maya / Formal Logic | The Formal System (Typographic rules, string manipulation, symbols) |
| The Self-Actualized Individual | The Jiva / The Liberated Mind | The Escherian Strange Loop (A self-conscious system that realizes its own rules) |
| Behavior | The Low-Level Trap (The Drifter) | The High-Level Mastery (The Strange Loop) |
|---|---|---|
| Morning Routine | Instant algorithmic capture (M-Mode). | Radical exit from the formal system (J-Mode). |
| Mental State | Fragmented by a million linear texts. | Unified by a singular recursive feedback loop. |
| Workspace | Cluttered with competing typographic triggers. | A pristine, high-probability attractor landscape. |
| Creative Work | Anxious about external system metrics. | Joyful, self-contained, Escherian production. |
